Michel de Montaigne (1533-1592) was a French Renaissance essayist and statesman. Nietzsche said of him, “That such a man wrote has truly augmented the joy of living on this Earth.” The music is “Kismet” by Bond.

    I don’t know if I agree with all of the quotes, but I certainly enjoyed this video. The music felt purposely and it matched the content of the quotes well.

    Unfortunately, months ago my computer stopped letting me import videos from my camera. I have no idea what happened. Luckily, I can still make text videos.

    I am about to read the final essay of Montaigne’s. It took me several months to work my way through the entire book- I’ve been busy.

    I think this is my new favorite text ever written.
    I have over 8 pages of quotations collected.

    Sheer genius!
